Welcome to Yoga Dharma Bulgaria

Yoga Dharma Bulgaria is in a secluded and beautiful part of the Balkan Mountain range. With views over the surrounding countryside, and overlooking the spa town of Voneshta Voda, set in a nature reserve, and the tiny hamlet of Gŭrtsite , you will experience the tranquillity of the area.

The centre was created from a traditional farm house, with many natural features. The grounds are large with our own orchard and lots of space to relax. The barn was converted into a large yoga studio, and two self contained rooms. The studio has large South facing picture windows, keeping light and airy.

The garden is peaceful and secluded, with a small pool and lots of garden furniture. The centre and grounds face South, so the sun shines all day. We are at the end of a small lane, so Its the perfect place to relax and unwind.

 

The house was completely renovated, and modernised. The house was built using local materials, which have been preserved and enhanced. The rooms have walk in showers, and are all comfortably furnished. The cellar is made from local stone, and is where we relax and eat. There is a projector for movies, and a small library.

We are in an area of outstanding beauty and nature, with lots of wildlife. There are colonies of wolves and bears nearby, and you may well hear the wolves as the sun goes down. If you go over the mountain for a morning walk, you will catch the deer out early.

The centre is in an area of natural springs, and there is a spa resort just below us in the village of Voneshta Voda. The spa attracts visitors from all over Europe to its natural remedies and therapies. The natural sulphur baths are amongst the most popular.
